Think You Can Shuffle? Show Oliver Heldens & DMNW Your Dance Skills

think you can shuffle? show oliver heldens and dmnw

There are a lot of things that we admire about the ever-endearing Oliver Heldens.  He (and his PR team?) probably have one of the best senses of humor of all DJs today.  He’s constantly poking fun at himself through Internet memes on Instagram and Snapchat.  He also might be one of the only DJs that dances on stage during his performance.  If you follow him on social media, you’ve been able to see his shuffling skills improve over the past year.  Now through new latest track, Bunnydance, you too can dance with Oliver Heldens — sort of.

The track will officially be released on May 16 through Spinnin’ Records, though Oliver Heldens has already premiered the track live at Ultra and Coachella.  You can listen to Bunnydance in its entirety on his Heldeep #046 radio show.

After listening to the track, grab your dancing shoes and recording device.  Oliver Heldens announced a contest to be featured in the Bunnydance music video.  Upload a video of your dance skills on Instagram with #BunnyDance and you might win! Do you think you have what it takes?  Are your shuffle skills on point?  If so, Dance Music Northwest wants to see you strut your stuff!  When you post your video, be sure to tag #dmnw for a chance to be featured on our site as well.

First gig in the music industry was as a low power FM broadcast radio DJ in 1996. First concert was Blink 182 with Bush and Filter in 1999. First electronic show was Benny Bennasi in June 2011. We've come a long way, baby.
