Slander Releases Grimy New Track “Vanguard”

Slander has just released quite arguably their best track to date, entitled Vanguard. Throughout Vanguard‘s 3:40 time, three words come to  mind: filthy, grimy and chaotic. It seems like they get darker and heavier with each new release. This tells us that  Derek Anderson and Scott Land put a lot of musical love and passion into their projects. Slander hasn’t been around for very long and it’s exciting for us to see what the future will hold for them. Maybe a full-length album release at some point? We can only hope!

Slander has made many original mixes, as well as remixing stars like Bastille, Jack U, Lil Jon, Seven Lions, Above & Beyond and many others. If you missed out, Slander & NGHTMRE teamed up recently to create Ascension and received very positive feedback from it. We would love to have Slander back at Foundation or anywhere else in Seattle for that matter. What do you think of Slander’s recent work? Let us know in your comments below!
