Throughout 2014, both Slander and NGHTMRE have increased their exposure to the public eye. Slander earlier this year even inked a deal with XS in Las Vegas for a long term residency. NGHTMRE has increased his following through remixing star-studded acts such as Tiesto, Showtek and even Kanye West. Together, these two acts make a deadly combo by delivering us a full arsenal of bass and some of the most gut wrenching production you have heard in awhile.
Ascension starts out slow and takes a bit of time to build up, even throwing in a piano ballad. Things don’t stay pretty and safe in Ascension for long. Shortly after the two minute mark, Ascension becomes an all out fury of bass described as ‘jagged, rough, and grungy’, mixed with some of the most enticing melodies around.
Both Slander and NGHTMRE would be a perfect fit for the bill at any of the massives, or even at Foundation Nightclub for a Substance Wednesday.
