A tweet from Rezz on April 28th sent rumors flying that a collaboration with deadmau5 was in the works. Rezz initially denied the rumors, as no work or agreement had yet been made between the two superstars. However, it appears that the weeks of rumor and speculation spurred the collaboration on – and we can’t wait.

Last week, deadmau5 tweeted a screenshot of a conversation between the two artists regarding a collaboration that appears to be entirely new material from both artists. His response indicated that he would be passing along the initial idea. Three days later, Rezz tweeted that she had sent back an idea for the collaboration, which is now fully in the works.

On the 23rd, deadmau5 posed a short teaser on his Instagram. The embryonic track seems to be a perfect fusion of the two producers’ respective styles, emphasizing the otherworldly bass sounds of Rezz and the clean drum beats of deadmau5. One thing’s for sure – it’s about to be killer.
