Pedestrian Tactics is a Seattle-based record producer; a name in the music industry that you may not have heard before and this has been on purpose. PT is a self-proclaimed “bedroom producer” which is a person who creates music in a closed environment, without much press or publicity. Yet his music has been played in sets by Bassnectar, Porter Robinson, and Zomboy.
Over the past six years, Pedestrian Tactics has been creating/producing music as well as artwork to accompany those releases. He has a very distinct style both in sound as well as art. It’s a modern take on bass music, with a visual aesthetic that’s both appealing to the eye as it is contemporary.
His art takes form in various gray-scale hues, but his music is anything but grey or typical. There are elements of industrial, garage, minimal, and even some glitch all weaved together to create a vibrant tapestry of sound.

Recently, Pedestrian Tactics announced that he’s releasing a new track called Mind Palace. Accompanied by an exciting new visual element in the form of the cover art he has created for it. The theme of this release is mental isolation and exploring the challenges of creating in an isolated environment, as bedroom producers tend to do.
A lot of influence for the sound of the track comes from a trip Pedestrian Tactics took to Southeast Asia. The variety of sound emanating from Asian markets and street corners turned a vacation into a necessary work trip. Often hiding in coffee shops, Pedestrian Tactics meticulously worked on music that he deems experimental as much as artistic.
Releasing October 19th, Mind Palace is an exciting track from an established Seattle Producer. Pedestrian Tactics is stepping out from the shadows and into the limelight cementing his place in the music scene with immaculately produced tracks that push the boundaries of what can be done. Until then, take a listen to some of his music below and get hyped for the next installment of Pedestrian Tactics’ career!
