A few years ago, a remix for SBTRKT‘s Hold On featured a mysterious producer by the name of Sisi BakBak. People speculated it was actually Thom Yorke. Although it might be a little hard to guess it was him, there are several hidden clues within the song, such as his mellow vibes and exquisite production skills. Recently, Pitchfork confirmed Thom Yorke was indeed Sisi BakBak all along. Take a listen and see if you can hear the resemblance between Hold On and Thom Yorke’s style.
Thom Yorke is busy bouncing around between Radiohead (who are set to start working on their forthcoming album very shortly) and his supergroup Atoms For Peace. SBTRKT has just completed his new album Wonder Where We Land and has started announcing tour dates in support of the new album.
