Marshmello’s Manager Is Starting His Own Firm

Marshmello and his manager, Moe Shalizi, will be leaving Red Light Management. Shalizi has a number of clients through Red Light Management, and he will be taking all of them to his own new firm. His clients include Ookay, Jauz, and Slushii.

Before Shalizi was part of Red Light Management he was throwing his own parties, which progressed to an event series, and then managing. He joined Red Light Management after Jauz had a hit.

Whatever Shalizi is doing for Marshmello is working, having graced the cover of Forbes 30 under 30. With talent that can’t be denied, along with a brand and persona that people are gravitated to, the duo knows how to do old school marketing with billboards, along with new school marketing with Instagram and hashtags. The duo seems to have their own plan, still working independently, “working with labels on a single-by-single basis.”

We will keep you posted on Shalizi’s new firm. What do you think of his plan to leave? Let us know on our Facebook and Twitter!
