Madeon Performs Last Minute Surprise NYE Set

For the third time this year, Madeon played a surprise set with the good people at the Brownies & Lemonade promotion company. The event happened in downtown Los Angeles at The Novo. This NYE event was a 2,300 person completely sold-out show with an unidentified lineup.

The intention was to keep the performers a surprise until seconds before their sets began. On New Year’s Eve Brownies & Lemonade curated seven performances.

Seven performers were hand-selected for a complete experience. Los Angeles locals and fans from across the country were astonished by Brownies & Lemonade veterans Fernet and Goj!ra. Los Angeles native Falcons warmed up the crowd for the evening.

Shortly after Quix, Graves, and Sam Gellaitry performed the climax of the celebration. Madeon took over at around 11:30 before executing the ball drop with his iconic Icarus. Here is Madeon’s full track-list.

Madeon allies with Brownies & Lemonade

Madeon moved to Los Angeles last January. Where he quickly established a friendly relationship with The Brownies & Lemonade crew. Previously, Madeon had lived the duration of his life in Nice, France.

While finishing production on his second studio album, Madeon has favored a break from touring. But this break has not stopped him from surprise and unscheduled performances. In 2018 Madeon totaled three surprise shows with Brownies & Lemonade. The previous two performances were in Los Angeles on April 19 and September 9.

Both Madeon and Brownies & Lemonade have exciting years planned ahead. We are anticipating many more surprise announcements in the upcoming months.

We hope everyone had a happy new year. Cheers to an exciting 2019 filled with new music and new shows from all over our favorite musicians and artists.
