Just when we need help passing the hours until Lucky 2015 this Friday the most, Zeds Dead comes through. With just a few days until their headlining performance at the fourth annual Lucky Festival, the Canadian duo has released their recent mix for dance music maven Pete Tong’s new ‘Evolution’ show. And that’s not even the best part. Our luck is kicking in early this March, as Zeds Dead have made the mix available as a free download, making it an easy addition to our road trip/pre-gaming festivities for Lucky 2015.
The mix opens with the duo’s collaboration with Oliver Heldens, You Know, and features a couple of remixes, some originals, and a Sleepy Tom remix of Bustamove. Zeds Dead get some help from Joe Ford, Bare Noize, and Flosstradamus in their impressively diverse 30-minute mix, spanning trap, drum & bass, tech house, and more. We’re hoping (and expecting) a similarly incredible set for their Seattle-massive make-up. Zeds Dead were scheduled to perform on the cancelled second night of FreakNight 2014.
