When Zedd released his track I Want You To Know along with Selena Gomez, a lot of fans were wondering what had happened to Zedd’s traditional sound. It sounded s a lot more “radio friendly” and frankly, generic. However, no worries, Zedd fans! He’s back in Addicted To A Memory and we suggest you take a listen. This is the second track for his upcoming second album, True Colors.
While some of his previous songs such as I Want You To Know have strayed from his established sound and style, this new song brings back Zedd to his roots. Featuring the vocals from Bahari, the song starts off with a familiar, slightly generic sound. Just stick with it; you’ll like what’s coming next. For those that remember Zedd’s Ocarina Of Time Remix or his track Slam The Door, you will recognize the Zedd we all fell in love with. About 1:30 into the track, he switches it up with some heavy bass and dirty synths, and continues to impress with us until the very end.
