In the Northwest festivals aren’t hard to come by. There’s Bumbershoot, The Capitol Hill Block Party, Kaleidoscope, Paradiso, Sasquatch and many others, but what we’ve always been missing is that festival that offers a little bit more than just grounds packed with people dancing to music from across the world. In 2012 the Northwest got just that with the birth of What The Festival.
What The Festival is an outdoors event that provides their guests with a few extra important amenities, most notably – a big ass pool. An attendee favorite, the splash stage has grown in popularity throughout the past few years for a number of reasons and probably the most important one is providing a place for everyone to float on their water toys cooling down from the beautiful Northwest weather.
What The Festival also provides their festival goers with the best of sound investing in the world famous Funktion One sound system for almost all of their stages. Don’t get us wrong, everyone loves loud music but lets face it, we love loud music that sounds great more.
