For the past 20 years, Ultra Miami has been held at BayFront Park, but this year is a little different. The City of Miami Commission has voted to evict Ultra due to the event allegedly being too chaotic and loud for the urban surrounding. Since this news broke, Ultra organizers continue to be optimistic about next year’s plans and are doing their very best to move forward.
Although residents have complained about noise and traffic, Ultra hopes to construct a new contract to please commissioners and downtown residents to remain at Bayfront. As for now, it’s still unclear where Ultra Miami will take place, but we’re excited to see what’s next.
