Berlin, Germany native Robot Koch has been making quite a name for himself as a producer playing festivals across Europe, Asia, and Russia and now into the US. And finally, this summer, he is jumping across the pond and showing the Pacific Northwest what he is all about at What the Festival.
With his first track coming onto the scene in 2001, Robot Koch has been laying down beautiful, ethereal tracks for well over a decade now. Koch has a very classical and raw sound, and his music is quite unlike anything we’ve ever heard before. As if his production wasn’t captivating enough, Robot Koch features vocals from the likes of John LaMonica and Susie Suh to take his tracks to a whole new emotional level. Not only does he have completely incredible original tracks under his belt, but he has also done remixes for Norah Jones, Mochipet, and the great Bassnectar. If any of you are fans of NBC’s The Black List, you have probably already, though unknowingly, fallen in love with Robot Koch’s music playing in the background on season one.
We can already picture ourselves chilling in the grass, getting our tan on and falling in love to Robot Koch’s melodies this June. If you would like to join us, tickets are still available. Snag them here before they are gone!
Important things happen in Pacific Northwest nightlife, and DMNW will send you alerts!
