With Thanksgiving just around the corner, now is a great time to reflect on the many blessings we all have. While it’s easy to stress in our day-to-day routines, it is important to take a moment and think about the bigger picture. In a community built on the pillars of Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect, our foundation already focuses on positivity and self-reflection. For this holiday season, DMNW takes it one step further to present what ravers should be thankful for:
1. Water!
Whether it be in camel backs, reusable water bottles, or straight out of the faucet in times of desperation – water is the giver of life and the ultimate thirst quencher. It is the thing that literally keeps you from dying after a night, day, or multiple days of dancing your ass off. You can survive without the 3 AM Taco Bell mission, but you will (without a doubt) die without daily water intake. If you don’t have one, you can purchase one here.
2. Ear Plugs
A genius invention that somehow allows you to still enjoy live music without destroying your precious ear drums, ear plugs are essential to raving responsibly. While we envy those with the zeal to dance right next to the speakers with no ear protection, now is the time to ensure you still have hearing in 40 years. To whoever invented these useful safety tools, DMNW salutes you!
3. Good Vibes
Dance music creates an environment that promotes positivity and sincerity. People come to shows to enjoy the music, escape the worries of the real world, and to enjoy a collective experience with like-minded individuals. People genuinely care about your well-being and will go out of their way to make sure others are having as much fun as possible.
