Ableton Live 10 introduced a massive amount of new content to help you in creative and experimental processes. Vespers, from Warp Academy, goes deep into the different elements of slicing and processing drums with the new tools and effects in Live 10.
The new Drum Buss audio effect is highlighted in the video by Vespers, an overlooked monster included with Live 10. It can easily and quickly help glue together your drums, or add wanted sonic articulation. We’ve found that Drum Buss works awesomely not just on groups, but also on individual drum sounds, as well as synths, vocals, and bass.
Vespers also goes to great lengths to describe the processes in the tutorial at an accessible level for all producers. We also appreciate the mention and explanation of the use of Corpus, an often overlooked effect in Ableton that’s been around for quite some time now.
