Warp Academy has been around for awhile on the internet, providing quality video lessons, templates, and tutorials (+ much more), for Ableton Live. You can try out Warp Academy’s offerings as a guest to get a better taste of what they offer, as well as join their community of artists and mentors.
As Warp Academy writes, “Everyone likes free, right?” Even with a free account, you get access to tons of content, from select tutorial episodes to course previews and free webinars. The academy also has FANTASTIC free YouTube content to help elevate your Ableton or musical prowesses. They’ve been posting on this channel for three years and there’s plenty of useful information for a producer of any skill level. And of course, all the YouTube content is free to stream as many times as you like, with interviews of the likes of David Starfire, Opiuo, VibeSquaD, just to name a few.

Their latest contribution to learning in the music production community is an interesting and useful challenge for artists. This 30-day challenge is comprised of daily selections of “small, hand-picked collection[s] of samples and/or synth patches for free”. In those 30 days (which we’re sure will go by blazingly fast) you’ll have to construct a song using only the provided materials. You can also record your own acoustic instruments or voice.
Warp Academy has teamed up with Black Octopus Sound to supply support of their gargantuan selection of samples for all genres. Black Octopus’ samples, albeit expensive, are some of the best-sounding samples we’ve come across, apart from Loopmasters’ offerings.
Limitations are a powerful part of learning, especially in regards to electronic music production. In addition to samples and/or patches, Warp Academy will support you with new production tips and tools for Ableton Live to propel your growth further. A selection of materials for the challenge are released each day. You won’t know what the next day of material contains until it’s released, so you’ll push your creativity to the max, day by day.
