Remember Adele’s smash hit Hello? You know the words: “Hello from the other sideeeeee. I must have called a thousand times”. Etc. Etc. You see, rewinding back to Lucky 2016, Dutch duo W&W dropped their remix of that song out of the blue and it hit everyone, including ourselves, right in the feels! From right to left, all you saw were hands raised to the Tacoma Dome ceiling and more than 8,000 people singing along. A magical moment. And Seattle will get an encore sooner rather than later!
W&W is set to make their Emerald City return to help kick off New Years weekend at Foundation and, if Lucky was any indicator, who knows what treats the two will have up their sleeves. 21+ general admission tickets for the Friday December 30th show are on sale now, with price tiers starting at $35 and capping at $45 (before fees). Tickets will be available at the door at 9 PM day of, if the event hasn’t sold out by then, of course. With W&W serving as the appetizer to Resolution’s dinner, we anticipate these tickets flying fast; get em while they’re (somewhat) cheap!
When it comes to churning out electro house dance floor bangers, W&W is part of the cream of the crop in 2016. Since January, the two have churned out collaborations with big names like Armin van Buuren, Hardwell, Lil Jon and Dmitri Vegas and Like Mike. Their single, How Many, released in May, currently has more than 10 million plays on Spotify, showing the two don’t need too much assistance creating a successful track. And to think the two started out as trance producers; talk about evolving with the times!
Will you be kicking off New Years weekend with W&W at Foundy? What song are you dying to hear? Or, are you hardcore and going to see them at Contact, in Vancouver, a few days before, in addition to their Seattle show? Drop a comment and let us know!
