Joshua Steele (better known as Flux Pavilion) has long been a household name in the dubstep community. One of the minds behind the renowned Circus Records, his fame blew up to epic proportions in 2010 with the release of I Can’t Stop, a track that still gets played out today. Right around that time, Flux helped produce a different, little-known track entitled 2021 with the help of electro-swing prodigy Odjbox.
Now it’s three years later and 2021 still sits buried at the bottom of Odjbox’s Soundcloud, waiting patiently to show the world a whole new side of Flux Pavilion. Without the earth-shattering drops of vintage Flux, it’s an entirely different animal. Gone is the smooth dub that embodies his more typical offerings, replaced with Steele’s own sultry singing, a touch of soulful piano, and just enough familiar wobble to prove the existence of his unmistakable presence in the studio.
As far as we can tell, there’s nowhere to buy or download 2021. Even so, you can always support it by streaming below, following Odjbox, and letting Flux Pavilion know he really needs to sing on more tracks.

It disappeared a couple years ago. Where’d it go?!
