Seattle has a rich basketball history, and another championship was added to its story recently by the city’s most successful franchise of all time. The Seattle Storm, the city’s professional women’s basketball team, beat the Washington Mystics 98-to-82 to secure its third title, last hoisting the prestigious WNBA championship trophy in 2010. Cheering on the green and gold? Mr. Pump Like That, Valentino Khan.
The Los Angeles-bred DJ/producer was on hand to watch the Storm rout the Mystics in the opening game of the championship series, before taking to the decks at Aston Manor. Donned in ancient SuperSonics (the city’s “stolen” men’s basketball team) gear, and sitting courtside, Valentino, one of dance music’s biggest sports fan, was one of the loudest supporters in the arena. See for yourself!
