Portland-based Doki Doki Productions is teasing a Halloween experience that is shaping up to be a weird and unusual journey into the darker side of electronic dance music. The premise, according to the event’s Facebook page:
“Will is missing and we are gathering to search for answers and unravel extraordinary mysteries involving secret DokiDoki/government unreleased experiments/music. Come experience supernatural forces with a very unusual group of DJ/Producers. Come join us in the upside down.”
Consider us intrigued! The event, titled Stranger Beats, will take place on Saturday October 29th at the Whiskey Bar in downtown Portland. Ticket and lineup information has yet to be announced. Stay tuned to Dance Music NW, or follow the event’s Facebook page, for future announcements!
