[textblock style=”3″]April Fool’s is over, and now we can of course confirm that Ultra (for the time being at least) will not be moving to the desert. Miami, it’s all yours.[/textblock]
This Just In: Ultra Girls won’t be so wet this year. Through a close source, we have confirmed that Ultra Music Festival will be moving to a new location next year. City officials of Miami, Florida are calling an end to the festival in their city due to lewd behavior and the trampling of a Contemporary Services Corporation guard. Arrests, drug overdosing, and people jumping the admission gates are all factors contributing to the end of the beloved music festival.
To those of you losing your mind over the demise of UMF – have no fear! The event organizers of Ultra Music Festival are planning to move the festival to the Chihuahuan desert to give it more of a “Burning Man feel.” This means more space and more room to party! The desert straddles the U.S. and Mexico border in the central and northern portions of the Mexican Plateau. UMF organizers are working hard to make sure the production is bigger and better next year – with more peeing on faces, less security, and longer sets.
