Krewella
Krewella is one of the most popular acts currently thriving in dance music today, and with good reason. The combination of filthy dubstep and catchy pop vocals that the trio has created since their debut EP, Play Hard, has hooked millions across the globe. Made up of Kris Trindl (aka Rain Man) and sisters Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf, Krewella have played throughout the Northwest in recent years. The trio has come a long way in the Pacific Northwest. Just two years ago, they played a free show at Volume Nightclub in Pioneer Square. A year later they opened up for Borgore at the Showbox Market. Now they’re back once more, this time as a headliner at our favorite PNW festival.
Liquid Stranger
A veteran of the industry with decades of experience, Liquid Stranger (aka Martin Stääf) is one of the most talented and revered artists on Paradiso’s 2014 lineup. Liquid Stranger was initially created as a way for Swedish-born Stääf to anonymously release his tunes, but that became more and more difficult over time and would come to an end. Fusing several genres with the knowledge and production skill to put it all together, Liquid Stranger will prove to be one of the more diverse acts you see this year at the Gorge.

Protohype
Max Hype, also known as Protohype, is another young artist pushing the limits of traditional genres and creating waves of change in dance music. His unique blend of hip-hop and dubstep makes for a ridiculously fun listen. His live shows are perfect for dancing and jamming, so make sure you do just that for his inevitable throw-down at the bass stage this year.
Seven Lions
Seven Lions’ set will likely be one of the most crowded at Paradiso 2014. Also known as Jeff Montalvo, Seven Lions has released three EPs, with the most recent coming earlier this year titled Worlds Apart. He’s had several hits from his handful of releases, all of which have come since 2011. Below Us, Days to Come, and Strangers are just a few of those tracks, all of which those who are lucky enough to experience his set at Paradiso 2014 will appreciate. He’s a rising star in an increasingly mediocre market, and the Northwest is lucky to have him swing by this summer.
Truth
New Zealand-based duo Truth, made up of Andre Fernandez and Tristan Roake, are one of the top international dubstep acts around. Touring and playing at festivals across the globe, Truth knows how to put on a show and bring the bass with them. Their experience and talent as both producers and DJs make them perfect candidates to utilize the scenic canvas that is The Gorge at Paradiso 2014.
Zomboy
Its fucking Zomboy, and he’ll fucking be at Paradiso 2014. Currently spreading his tunes across North America on ‘The Outbreak’ tour with fellow dubstep artist Cookie Monsta, Zomboy will thankfully be stopping in the Northwest. Zomboy (aka Joshua Jenkin) is releasing his debut album The Outbreak via Never Say Die Records on August 4th. The infection you will get from Zomboy and his tunes are the best kind possible, so make sure you experience the outbreak at Paradiso 2014.
