Officially, Christmas is over. But if you’re still in the mood to give (and we hope you are), here’s a great excuse to buy some music: tyDi, one of Australia’s premiere trance and progressive producers recently released an EP called The Promise, composed of five beautiful tracks. Ready Set, Audrey Gallagher, Dennis Shepherd, and Jennifer Renne, like tyDi himself, donated their time to help produce this collection.
The Promise was produced without any financial help from any label, and tyDi won’t be making the money back from its sales. This EP is specially named this way because he’s made a commendable promise to donate all the sales proceeds to Pencils of Promise, in an effort to change the lives of children in the developing world through the construction of schools and the gift of a priceless education. He’s set a goal of $10,000 and you can donate through Pencil of Promise’s site or purchase via iTunes. You can help tyDi fulfill his promise at the links provided, as well as read up on his full message, via Facebook, below.
