Authorities are deeming a weekend fire at Seattle’s Trinity Nightclub as “suspicious.”
Responders headed to the scene in the late hours between Sunday night and Monday morning, after the area directly above Trinity’s side entrance caught fire around 2:30 a.m. Seattle firefighters managed to get the burn under control close to 3:30 a.m., accessing the fire through the void space of the building.
According to the Seattle Fire Department, it appears as though the fire started in the attic of the venue.
“Fire investigators are investigating this as a possible suspicious fire,” Seattle FD said on Twitter.
Detectives will review surveillance footage from cameras owned by the club to determine the exact cause of the incident.
