Avicii’s final album, TIM, was released earlier this month, and this week a beautiful tribute video was released. Levan Tsikurishvili chose Heaven, which was a collaboration by Tim and Chris Martin. “Tim and Chris Martin wrote and recorded “Heaven” in 2014, with Tim producing the final version in 2016.” The video was made by friend and film director, Levan Tsikurishvili. The duo had worked together on projects in the past, “8 music videos, 3 concert movies, and 2 documentaries” to be exact.
After Tim’s last show they were able to spend some time making memories in Madagascar, Île Sainte Marie. With these memories along with smartphone videos, new footage, unused documentary footage, and 3D animation, Levan Tsikurishvili was able to create a beautiful tribute video that captured so much of what we all want to see, Tim happy.
The video brings so much love, as well as sadness. Levan Tsikurishvili and Tim seemed like an amazing team that had many projects together, and now they get to add one more. Check out the tribute video below.
