As of last Friday, Andy Moor and Lange have officially started playing as STADIUM4. If the name sounds familiar, you’re probably acquainted with their track of the same name – Stadium Four – released back in 2009. If not, check it out!
The track plays big (certainly the goal) and became the motivation for the STADIUM4 project. The two trance titans seek to put their own spin on big, epic trance. To use Lange’s words from an interview with Ministry of Sound, “Think Festival, but strictly no cheese.” Both artists have been previously known for more progressive, less drop-heavy styles of trance so it will be interesting to see how STADIUM4 delivers. It’s a bit like when comedy actors attempt a more serious role…but reversed, and totally different. And hey, Armin is certainly enjoying a bit of praise with his purist trance project, Gaia. Either way, we are pretty excited for what STADIUM4 brings to the dancefloor. Listen and watch for yourself, as Ministry of Sound has been kind enough to put the whole set online!
