More than anything, Excision’s annual set in the Village at Shambhala is the flagship bass performance of the year. With its eventual upload to Soundcloud considered to be akin to basshead Christmas, it’s no wonder why the rafters are packed every time the native Canadian takes the stage. His legendary sets up there are famous for running the gamut from hard dubstep, bits of trap, and everything in between, making for a master class in the bass genre.
In many ways, Excision is the main event at Shambhala. To get a sense for why, listen to his performance from last year and get ready to see a legend throw down on his home turf.
