1. deadmau5 – while (1<2) – June 17th
Of all the major albums coming out this summer, deadmau5’s while (1<2) is the one that takes the cake (or, cheese?). It is the first album since Album Title Goes Here in September of 2012 for the man also known as Joel Zimmerman, and it will be released digitally on June 17th via mau5trap and Astralwerks. It is available for pre-order on iTunes and currently holds the top spot for ‘Top Albums’ in the dance category.

The digital release will be followed by a physical release of a double-disc LP. The album contains 25 tracks, including Avaritia, which was premiered by Pete Tong last week. The mau5’s seventh album will include his signature sound and style, but will still be a unique addition to his past works.
its just that its the first album ive ever done that i would even call an album… it's put together like an album. not a compilation.

On May 23rd Zimmerman premiered the latest single off of while (1<2) with Zane Lowe of BBC Radio 1, titled Seeya. The man in the mau5 mask described the track as ‘a bit of a departure’ and that it was ‘an older song I’ve had kicking around my nest for a while’ in the interview with Lowe.
