It’s no secret that Dada have been having an interesting few weeks, with the mystery of the stolen laptop stirring the rumor mill. Did it really get stolen, or is this an attempt to get people buzzing? We know our Rules of Dada, and we can’t help but remember that one of the most important is Don’t Trust Us. With that being said, whether the boys really did get a laptop stolen or this is just a gimmick, either way we have a new Dada treat, and this is something we all can smile about.
Candy, Pills, Ice Cream, Thrills… this is going to be our summer banger and it’s only January. The boys are back to their crazy electro roots on this one with a build that we absolutely cannot wait to rage to under the summer sun (Dada at Paradiso hmm?!) , and hopefully many times before then as well. Say what you will about some of the other tracks Dada has put out lately, this one is the classic hard-charging Dada sound that we know and love. This is one that will leave us incredibly ugly and we wouldn’t have it any other way. The full track drops next Monday, January 26th but in the meantime the preview ought to tide you over.
As promised, now that the Compound is unfortunately somewhat of a distant memory at this point we must begin hoping and praying that they find their way back to Seattle soon. After all, we have plenty of fish, and now both of our Presidents are on the mend, joining forces to melt faces. Give the preview a listen below, and let us know what you think.
