Tiesto Releases “Wasted” Remixes, Mike Mago Steals The Show

Tiesto released four separate remixes of his latest single Wasted featuring in-vogue vocalist Matthew Koma. The four artists, TST, Ummet Ozcan, Mike Mago and Yellow Claw, all bring their own twist to the already popular song. While some don’t land the way we’d hoped, others succeed at bringing his track to new heights.

Tiesto starts out the remixes with his own version under the alias TST. As TST, his Wasted remix is fast paced and progressive with the best build-ups of the featured artists. His music has you bouncing in your seat but never quite builds past its massive potential. On the other hand, Ummet Ozcan’s Wasted take has you reminiscing for the Midway of Mayhem stage at Freaknight, as he has you getting down to his fast-paced music. His Wasted remix is the most fun and has you dancing around in no time.

The peak of the package comes with Mike Mago’s Wasted, standing head and shoulders above the rest. His deep house mix will have you laid back and relaxing and feeling the good vibes in no time. The mix melodically moves along as it transcends into greatness, delivered in a way the others fail to. While most of the artist’s remixes turned out good, Yellow Claw’s remix was an attempt by a trap artist to make a house track that doesn’t vibe the way we hoped for. Throughout his remix the same high-pitched kick repeats, as the song falls short of the perfection Mago accomplished.

All around TST, Ummet Ozcan and Mike Mago’s remixes are solid, while Yellow Claw’s remix leaves a little something to be desired. Check it out above and let us know whose you liked most!
