[divider]The Triumphant Return to FreakNight[/divider]
The last time Tiesto headed the bill for FreakNight, it was alongside the likes of Pendulum, Dada Life, and Feed Me. This time around, he’s joined by a slightly different cast of characters for what’s set to be the biggest edition of the Halloween party we’ve ever seen. Last year set the bar with the first ever two-night extravaganza, and with a legend like Tiesto set to headline the second night, expectations are running higher than ever. In terms of what exactly to expect, those wondering if Tijs resides in the “pre-recorded set” camp of DJing may be a little surprised…
DMNW: With FreakNight quickly coming up, has the planning for that set already begun? Are there any special surprises in store for Seattle when you take the stage?
Tiesto: There’s no pre planning and I won’t know what I’ll be playing until I get up on stage…but yes, there will be lots of surprises!
The dance music mainstay is still managing to keep busy in the run-up though, with a residency at Hakkasan, running his Musical Freedom label, and of course him “still focusing heavily on the album (with) a few more singles coming.” With all this though, you can bet his return to FreakNight will top the list for must-see sets.
The Pacific Northwest is incredible. It’s just a beautiful part of the country and has a special vibe. Historically, it’s such a special place for music. I’m really looking forward to returning for FreakNight!
