Dutch DJ Tiesto has reinvented his music, yet again, with his newest release Wasted. Pairing up with American singer/songwriter Matthew Koma, the duo comes together to bring you a chart-worthy pop-progressive track. Wasted, a catchy and fun song, has already received some very critical feedback implying Tiesto is a sellout.

With every artist, there are risks that are taken. Some good, some bad. Wasted could go either way for fans, new and old. Tiesto has bounced around and experimented with all different types of genres since the beginning of his career in the EDM industry. In the 80s he entered the scene as a giant of trance world. The 90s followed with a more hardcore style which then lead into progressive and electro house. Today, he has shown he will dare to dabble in the pop realm of EDM with Wasted. If you are as open to change and musical evolution as Tiesto is, you might just enjoy this track, even with its top-40 appeal. Wasted is worth a listen through, or two.
