Thomas Jack has been making his own music for quite some time, only in the last year seeing any sort of success. But then tropical house exploded as a genre, leading to him along with other artists like Kygo headlining festivals across the globe. Nowadays, the genre is growing fast, characterized by its laid-back style and pan-flute laden kicks. Some criticize it for being far too slowed-down and relaxed, but that hasn’t stopped it from selling out shows in Seattle on a regular basis.
The last time tropical house invaded our fair city, Kygo played two sold-out nights at The Neptune. This time around, Thomas Jack is touching down at The Crocodile on Saturday, February 28th. The show is predictably sold out, but that doesn’t mean you can’t find a way to get in: We’re giving away two tickets to one lucky fan! So dust off your best Hawaiian shirt, get out the board shorts and flip-flops, and enter below for your chance to see the undisputed king of genre take over at a venue that’s fast becoming one of our favorites here in Seattle.
