If there’s been a collaboration project who’ve reached their high expectations as fast as duo Skrillex & Diplo, we haven’t found them. Jack Ü will be piloting the Full Flex Express tour through Canada this summer, while also performing at Spring Awakening, Pemberton Music Festival, HARD Summer, and various Mad Decent Block Parties. They already got everyone talking with their performance at Ultra earlier this year, which featured various vocalists, and appearances from Diddy and Justin Bieber. Continuing to build momentum from the duo’s debut album, which was released earlier this year, Jack Ü are most definitely winning festival season 2015.
Apart from the project, Skrillex will also be performing at Paradiso, Shambhala, and a few other festivals, including a few as part of his other collab work with Boys Noize, Dog Blood. Diplo, meanwhile, will be performing mainly as Jack Ü. But, he also has solo shows, and with project Major Lazer, lined up for this summer. Whether they’re together, or solo, Skrillex & Diplo know how to win festival season, and are doing so this year.

Kygo, along with fellow tropical house figurehead Thomas Jack, are the two major artists taking advantage of the genres quick rise to mainstream EDM popularity. 2015’s deep house has seen it’s fair share of criticism, but if festival season is any indicator, tropical house is doing just fine. Also known as Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll, the 23-year-old Norwegian producer is performing at Counterpoint, Mysteryland, Lollapalooza, Osheaga, Shambhala, and a host of European festivals this summer as well. He’s already played at Ultra and Coachella this year, and if he’s going to be more than a constant association with a kickstart genre, he’ll have to prove himself to the thousands in attendance all summer long.

[divider]GIRAFFAGE[/divider]
San Francisco-native Charlie Yin, better known as Giraffage, is coming off of a 2014 which featured touring alongside Porter Robinson on his ‘Worlds Tour’. Although it wasn’t his first time touring dozens of dates in nearly as many days, this summer’s festival tour is unlike anything Giraffage has had scheduled to this point in his career. He’s performed at Noise Pop and CRSSD Festival this year, and is scheduled to perform at Mysteryland, Pemberton Music Festival, Capitol Hill Block Party, HARD Summer, Outside Lands, and more. An artist as ready as any to breakout this year, Giraffage is making the most of festival season 2015.
