When tragedy strikes, it either brings people together, or it rips them apart. After the death of Shane Zimmardi, the South Kitsap community rallied together to fund his family and offer support during this difficult time.
A local music studio and event organization team, Electric Wave Productions, wants to keep that support going. They are throwing a show, The Neon Wave, on June 12th, at 9:00pm. The goal is to raise money for the Zimmardi family—and also to foster a healthy approach to dance music at the ground level.
This is not your typical local show, however. The event is every bit a professional caliber event, and features first-rate sound equipment, DJs, and lighting. The Neon Wave is dedicated to Shane’s memory, and it is therefore essential that it be unparalleled in quality as well as safety. From the performers to the production, every part of the benefit is designed to provide an exceptional experience.
Tickets are $12 at the door, and a portion of all ticket sales will go directly to the Zimmardi family, and a booth for additional donations will also be present. It is a 16+ event, and age limits will be strictly enforced, so be sure to bring identification. For those unable to make the event, there’s also a GoFundMe to support the Zimmardi family. But, for those who can, be prepared to celebrate and pay tribute from 9:00-1:00 at the greatest event South Kitsap has ever seen.
