UK based nonprofit organization The Loop is on a mission to bring light to the dangers of drugs. Working across Europe in bars, clubs, and festivals they provide harm reduction advice and drug safety testing and training. This team of individuals believes that safe drug testing and resources should be readily available within the scene, and another part in this is providing information to the public about current drugs in circulation.
Earlier this August, The Loop tweeted out a graphic, issuing a warning on the 10 strongest pills to watch out for. These pressed pills have 2+ times the normal dose of MDMA within them. As always, if you see something, say something and help spread awareness.
#harmreduction is our mission, our motto & our mantra! Here are the 10 highest strength pills tested by the Loop this summer, all 200+mg MDMA. These pills, like most tested by the Loop in 2019, contain 2+ x an average adult dose of MDMA. Take care of each other?#StartLowGoSlow pic.twitter.com/05AkpVgQOw

The most dangerous pill listed is the yellow and white Technogym, at 330 mg of MDMA. Over half the pills listed within their tweet contain up to, or over 300 mg, enough to put someone in critical condition. The risks of taking MDMA are dehydration, heatstroke and in extreme cases seizures and even heart attacks. The Loop believes that, “Knowledge is our best weapon against the harm from drugs, and information can mean the difference between life and death.”
