[divider]INTRODUCTION[/divider]
Despite questions about security, the lineup, and the venue, Lucky 2015 is a go. Taking place at WaMu Theater on Friday, March 13th, the fourth annual Lucky Festival comes at a time of transition for the Northwest dance music scene. The cancelled second day of FreakNight 2014 was followed up with security and privacy concerns at Resolution 2015, while Above & Beyond’s Northwest tour stop was oddly booked at the Tacoma Dome. But, when it comes to Lucky 2015, the lineup has been delivered and many of our concerns and questions have been addressed.
Now that the big stuff has been settled, we can start to plan our costumes and outfits, coordinate our rave families, and game-plan for potential set-time conflicts. We’ve delved deeper into the Lucky 2015 lineup, looking for stats and trends to help out, but knowing a little bit about every artist is the best way to decide these life-altering decisions. So, we’re back at it with our artist guide, giving you a sampling of the latest news, info, and tunes from each and every artist performing at Lucky 2015!
Lucky is an ages 18+ event, with a full bar available to those 21 and over, and free water refill stations available to all. There is no smoking allowed inside the WaMu Theater, e-cigarettes or otherwise, and there will not be outdoor smoking areas. Camelbaks are not permitted, as the only bags allowed must be clear and smaller than 12x12x6. As always, these rules are subject to change at security’s discretion, with an enhanced security effort throughout the venue and its entrances.
