Entertainment platform giant Twitch is giving artists and DJs the ability to live stream their music to a huge audience. Live streaming allows viewers to listen in on podcasts, live mixes and interviews you can’t find anywhere else.
As one of the US DJ Industry leaders, The DJ Sessions is shaping the future of live streaming. They are Twitch’s featured partners and their only regularly scheduled live streaming DJ show. Spontaneous podcasts stream weekly from their various creative studio locations like the “Rooftop”, “Silent Disco”, “Secret”, and they’ve just launched their brand new “Mobile” studio series.
The DJ Sessions set up a universe all their own with their first-ever glass box on-location live streaming Mobile studio. Tens of thousands of viewers witnessed DJs playing during its launch at PAX West in Seattle this year. The TDJS Mobile Studio displays high-quality content by using full HD streaming and HD audio. They plan to follow some of the largest electronic music events from their Mobile Studio. You can find their full list of upcoming events here.
In addition to their new Mobile series, The DJ Sessions aim to bring in and spotlight more female/non-binary DJ’s on their podcast. Currently, their stacked schedule holds 144+ events each year. Apple has recognized TDJS twice as a “New and Noteworthy” podcast and was featured three times in the iTunes store video podcast section. Speaking on its upcoming 10th anniversary, founder Darren Bruce praises The DJ Session’s milestone achievements.
“We have been able to produce over 1,700 episodes of live recorded video streams since 2009 and this milestone achievement can only be attained by the diligent work put in by the entire crew at ‘The DJ Sessions.'”
With over 100+ hours of content available every month on TDJS podcast, there is always something new for fans to listen to and watch.
