The Montreal based trio of DJs that construct Black Tiger Sex Machine are definitely from the future. Marc Chagnon, Julien Maranda, and Patrick Barry of BTSM are taking on their largest tour to date. Fans of the BTSM Church will glimpse into the unknown during their Futuristic Thriller tour.
If you haven’t experienced BTSM’s combative sound or watched the trio’s signature tiger helmets glow in time with the music now is your chance! On theme for their Futuristic Thriller Tour is their tour announcement, which looks straight out of a sci fi film.
In the year 2058, Naomi is a resistance fighter for the BTSM Church, fighting against the Kannibalen infection. Asking fans to attend the Futuristic Thriller Tour will alter the past to help ensure a peaceful future, totally in line with their theme. It’s also a fun play on Kannibalen Records, BTSM’s own record label they launched in 2011.
The trio released their second album, New Worlds, in 2018 and have been preparing their live experience tour ever since. It must be the mixture of their dark, heavy sound alongside their hypnotic visuals and otherworldly pulse that have lead to the devoted fans who follow the BTSM Church.
This nationwide tour is their biggest yet, with over 13 weeks of dates and the tour even kicks off in the PNW. Musical support for this tour varies on each date but will come from Blanke, VAMPA, Apashe, Kai Wachi, and LSDREAM. Check out the BTSM website for a full list of tour dates and ticket information.
