Born in the small Estonian town of Pärnu in 1988, Rene Pais discovered his love of electronic dance music after playing around with synthesizers as a kid. He grew into more polished production while playing shows in Canada, the UK, Ireland, Russia, and The Netherlands under his stage name Syn Cole. Le7els manager Ash Pournouri discovered the 24 year-old this past year and offered him a place on Avicii’s internationally renowned label. With one chart topping summer hit April and his new track Miami 82 due out on December 31st, DJ/Producer Cole is well on his way to becoming a superstar.
Miami 82‘s release offers two unique edits, including one by Avicii himself. Cole’s vocal edit is an upbeat, rhythmic dance hit featuring a poppy sound and strong, almost stifling vocals by Los Angeles singer/songwriter Kelly Sheehan aka Madame Buttons. Avicii’s edit is more our speed with zero vocals, an EDM beat, and a strong, well developed bass line. Don’t take our word for it, listen to them both and see which one gets you groovin’.
