Initially when Metric started out in 1998, Emily Haines and James Shaw were a two piece before adding a bassist and a drummer. When great musicians pop-up and start performing, word travels fast and this was no different for Metric. From their work 10 years ago to today, it all sounds fresh and distinctly alike, but still a little bit different each time.
Everything from albums 10 years ago to current day were covered at some point throughout the hour-and-a-half set. The scenic view we had during Metric was the icing on the cake. Don’t forget all of the energy and overall love you can witness within the band members. This is such a great band to sing along with; make sure you get the chance to try it out sometime.
