Known for their use of stage props and costumes throughout their set, Empire of the Sun was an act we had to witness. This time however, for a good portion of the set, Luke Steele (pictured above) performed without his massive head-piece he usually performs with during live shows. Don’t get us wrong, he still sported it a bit, but not as much as he usually does.
Also what proved to be unique was Steele mingling with the crowd at the front of the stage. It was quite a personable performance, in contrast to the footage we have seen from Empire of the Sun’s previous sets. The hour long set proved to be one of the most interesting and shocking sets of the weekend, with lots of fans raving how great of a show they put on.
