Unless you’ve been living under a rock or frozen in carbonite for the last 6 months, then you know that we are only a few short days away before the release of the 7th installment to the Star Wars series. Yes, you’ve guessed it, we here at DMNW are completely caught up and overly excited for the release of ‘The Force Awakens’.
This year has been quite the year for both Star Wars and the electronic dance music scene. From DJ Snake dropping a remix of Star Wars for HP to Dunes Electroniques, the dance festival in Tunasia; the small North African country home to many of the original Star Wars filming locations. Once thought to be something “the nerds” would go watch has now become a major piece of pop culture and inundated into almost all our daily lives. Honestly, we feel as though Star Wars and electronic dance music go hand-in-hand. So to get you even more excited, we’ve collected a few of our favorite Star Wars tracks to pump in your TIE Fighter on the way to the theater.
Flux Pavilion – Rebel’s Theme (Flux Remix)

Ookay – Star Wars
Binary Suns – Star Wars (Coyote Kisses Remix)
Dead Cat Bounce & Noisy Freaks – Duel of the Fates (Remix)
Kaskade – C-3PO’s Plight
So, there you have it! While most of the list is not the most comprehensive or complete, it will for sure get the dance floor at the Mos Eisley Cantina moving. So next time you’re on Tatooine, or Han Solo hands you the AUX chord in the Millennium Falcon, be sure to drop one of these bangers. And to those who aren’t Star Wars fans… Well you’re a “stuck up, half-witted, scruffy-looking Nerf herder.” Now pardon us while we go lock ourselves inside our office and war Episodes 1-6 before December 18th. Be sure to leave us some love on our Facebook or give us a shout on Twitter, no telling what side of the force we’ll end up on after the 18th.
Important things happen in Pacific Northwest nightlife, and DMNW will send you alerts!
