Alesso
Swedish producer Alesso, aka Alessandro Lindblad, makes his return to the PNW at FreakNight 2014. His last appearance came in November of last year at the Showbox Sodo, and those who caught his show will be the most excited for his return. He’s played at some of the biggest festivals around the world and, at 23-years-old, still has plenty to offer the growing dance music scene. Alesso will be Under Control when he creates a City of Dreams at the WaMu Theater and Tear(s) The Roof Up.

Dyro
Bringing the inevitable Dutch touch that seems to be on every major festival lineup nowadays, emerging young star Dyro will feature at FreakNight 2014 this Fall. Making his first PNW appearance in almost a year, the rising star will draw a crowd no matter his set time or stage. His popularity was signaled loudly when he became the youngest ‘Highest New Entry’ in the 2013 DJ Mag Top 100, debuting at #30. He’s been working alongside the likes of Hardwell, Dannic, and more of dance music’s biggest names and we think the best is yet to come. Witness another of the young talents USC Events were able to secure for their annual Fall festival and check out Dyro at FreakNight 2014.

EDX
Swiss-based artist EDX, aka Maurizio Colella, is one of the veteran DJ/producers performing at FreakNight 2014. The No Xcuses radio show host has performed across the world at countless clubs and festivals and has been a mainstay on the major festival circuit for several years. He’s worked with and played alongside many of dance music’s greats and has consistently proven his own capabilities year after year. He’s released a few studio albums, but it’s mixes and performances where EDX shines and the opportunity to watch him live is most certainly a treat for all of us this FreakNight.
Galantis
Duo Christian ‘Bloodshy’ Karlsson of Miike Snow fame and Linus Eklow, aka Style of Eye, have burst onto the dance music scene in 2014. After signing with Big Beat Records in 2013, their debut single Smile took off to close out the year and 2014 has seen nothing but success for the Swedes. They’ve released three EPs already this year, a remix EP for both Smile and You, as well as a debut compilation of originals in the Galantis EP. Their shining moment came at this Coachella, where their live set blew fans away and was widely considered one of the best performances of the entire festival. Galantis is one of our ‘DON’T MISS’ artists of FreakNight 2014, so make sure to fit them into your schedule for the weekend.
Ummet Ozcan
Growing up and living with dance music throughout his youth in Amsterdam, Turkish-Dutch producer/DJ Ummet Ozcan has EDM flowing through his veins. He successfully translates his passion into exciting, energetic tracks and has the ability to do so while spanning various genres. Ozcan is continually soaring to new heights since emerging on the greater dance music scene in 2011 and has released hit after hit while working with the likes of Revealed Records, Spinnin Records, and more. His last show in the PNW came on Valentine’s Day 2014 at the Meydenbauer Event Center in Bellevue for Dance Nation II.
