Grizmatik
One of the acts we’re most excited about at FreakNight 2014 is the Seattle debut of Grizmatik, the combination of 21-year-old Detroit-native Griz and Slovenian Gramatik. The result: ridiculously funky, low-tempo, electro-soul. The sound is infectious and the duo will draw a crowd regardless of its set time or stage. Grizmatik doesn’t have many live performances, so consider this one of the treats for FreakNight 2014 from USC Events. If you want to catch one of the more unique acts and sounds at FreakNight this fall, make sure you’re on time for Grizmatik.
Krafty Kuts (Breaks)
Another legendary name gracing the FreakNight 2014 lineup is British DJ Krafty Kuts, aka Martin Reeves. The ‘King of Breaks’, Krafty Kuts has won awards from in the UK, Australia, Ibiza and more. For a former Brigton record store owner, that’s not a bad come up. The combination of his skills as a turntablist, the way he fuses funk and hip-hop, and his history in the industry make Krafty Kuts the perfect artist to catch at FreakNight 2014.
