Emma Hewitt
Australian singer/song-writer Emma Hewitt returns to the Northwest in grand fashion this Fall, following up her appearance at Resolution 2014 to kick off the new year. She also performed at the Whiskey Bar in Portland on September 20th. The PNW is lucky to be graced with her stunning vocals that draw emotion out of every being within earshot. She’s worked with top producers around the world, from Armin van Buuren and Dash Berlin to Cosmic Gate and BT, and shown off her awesome abilities time and time again. We couldn’t be more excited for her to be added to the impressive trance/progressive roster USC Events has provided for FreakNight 2014.
ilan Bluestone
One of the fastest rising artists in dance music today, Anjunabeats all-star ilan Bluestone is representing the UK scene like a veteran. The London-based producer has strung together quality tune after quality tune and has earned his spot on the lineup for ABGT100 at Madison Square Garden on October 18th alongside Above & Beyond, Mat Zo, and Andrew Bayer. Bluestone has turned his self-taught guitar and keyboard skills into a budding production career and we can’t wait to see what he has in store for us in the future. You’ve heard his songs in many of Above & Beyond and other big-name artist’s sets over the last 18 months, so don’t miss your chance to hear them from the man himself.
Omnia
Ukranian prodigy Omnia, aka Evgeny Smirnov, makes his Northwest debut at FreakNight 2014 and is an artist trance fans will make sure they’re early to the stage for. He’s worked a ton with dance music legend Armin van Buuren’s famed Armada Music label and has impressed the dance music community from the start. Another of the self-taught producer/DJs at FreakNight 2014, he’s improved since bursting onto the international scene in 2011 and there’s no sign of Omnia slowing down anytime soon.
Paul van Dyk
A true legend in the dance music community for decades, Germany’s Matthias Paul (aka Paul van Dyk) has been one of the mainstays of trance/progressive scene since the early-90s. The Berlin-born producer/DJ is a figurehead and outspoken activist on various fronts, while also spreading the joy that is his music. He’s released six studio albums, performed across the world, and worked with some of music’s biggest names. No stage is too big for Paul van Dyk and there’s no telling what tricks or treats he will have in store come FreakNight 2014.
