Chris Baio of Vampire Weekend has just dropped another impressive album. Going officially as Baio in his solo career, his sophomore EP, Mira, was released through Future Classic Record Label. Along with the release, Baio has also just shared the video for the EP’s hip title track, and it is definitely one to watch. The video features extreme close-ups of peoples eyes, mouths, and faces (most of these are masked by balaclavas). Mouths are also made up to look like eyes, creating a trippy effect when lip-syncing along to the words or sound effects of the snappy house jam. There are also dizzying nighttime sequences superimposed over the faces during the song’s breakdown. All of this creates a pleasing effect for the viewer and makes us anxiously excited to listen to the entire EP. Watch the video for Mira below:
