Bonnaroo, the 4 day festival located in Manchester, may in fact be the home of Sonny Moore’s most unique set played, ever. The spontaneous sunrise session was suggested by the house-head herself, Mija. It was about 6:00 AM when this newly formed duo took the stage and powered Bonnaroo’s beautiful sunrise with their unique blends of house music.
Just over a 1,000 lucky people gathered round’ to witness Skrillex and Mija as they delivered an incredibly intimate set, all while the sun made it’s way up over the horizon. Sonny seemed to be very emotionally attached to the crowd by the end their performance, creating an intense & euphoric moment. “I never want this moment to end!” was shouted to the crowd by Sonny as he prepared to drop their last song.
