Today Skrillex announced his 2014 Mothership tour featuring some of the biggest names in Electronic music including DJ Snake, Dillon Francis, Milo & Otis & What So Not. You might be asking yourself, “This isn’t relevant to the Northwest” but we’re telling you it certainly could be! With Paradiso Festival at the Gorge Amphitheater June 27th & 28th and a gap in his announced tour dates at the end of June could only lead us to suspect that this summer might be one of Washington’s biggest… ever (well maybe not ever, but we’re trying to build excitement here).
Imagine this, a side stage at Paradiso Festival dedicated to Dim Mak and OWSLA artists from sunset on, filled with some of the biggest bass music artists in EDM. You’ll have the ever so entertaining Dillon Francis hocking cats into the crowd while eating Taco Bell’s grilled stuff burrito, music from Skrillex’s brand new massive album (we can only hope, maybe the mothership production too), a massive twerkathon from DJ Snake and incredible performances from other joining acts. Sound massive? Sign us up and lets start crossing our fingers for the biggest Paradiso Festival yet.
And this is all not happening because he’s performing in Europe during that gap. That doesn’t rule out any of the other acts though..
