What does the 20th annual Shambhala mean to you?

20 yrs of being a part of one of the biggest social/music/art experiments of our time. To think that we have got away with this for 20 yrs is mind blowing. The full power-ness of whatever it is that we are doing with sound and lights and art and human expression on a such big scale is quite something that i can’t actually put into words.

To have been a part of it from before the beginning as well is such a long strange trip….. to see the progression from where it started to where it is now. I could try to describe what it means to me but it seems like words don’t really do it any justice and you would basically have to be here to really understand it even if it was just once. It’s like 20 full lifetimes packed into just 20 yrs. It’s stardust!

How will that be reflected in your stage this year?

It will be reflected in our stage this year by having 2 of our favorite artists of all times play: The ORB, one of the all time original pioneers of electronic dub and downtempo ambient, and the Idjut Boys, where funk/disco meets dub dance music.

Why not book your favorite artists of all time for the year 20th annual?? Also having a brand new stage new look and new location to kick off the next 20 yrs is a reflection. See ya at the Living Room! LIFE’S A BEACH ………then you LIVE!!!!

That’s it from your friends at Shambhala — drive safe, keep an eye out for DMNW on the Farm, and of course, HAPPY SHAMBS!
